Dear Dr. Quaynor:

(1) Many thanks for your msg (ATTACHMENT I below).

(2) It is my great honor and privilege to be introduced to you by Dr. Thomas Mensah — you may know him well since he told me that you and he were at the same high school — References (b) and (c) above.

(3) My wholehearted congratulations to your being listed as one of inductees of the 2013 Internet Hall of Fame <http://tinyurl.com/pp64no5>.

(4) Pls kindly browse through the followings in the Reference (a) above;

(a) Section 3.1 Broadband Internet:
(b) Section 4.   Case 1: Co-Prosperity Among ECOWAS Countries:
(c) Section 7.1  Public Seminar:

We would greatly appreciate it if you can kindly help our Global Knowledge Center Network (GKCN) project with distributed simulation approach (Figure 5 in the Reference (a) above).

As you might have perceived from them, we are now forging ahead to construct a global/ECOWAS simulation model as interlinking socio-economic-energy-environmental models of several ECOWAS countries through a broadband Internet — see Figures 3, 4, and 5 of the Reference (a) above — for the capacity building of bureaucrats of various governmental levels and future leaders for co-prosperity of ECOWAS countries.

BTW, the Millennium Institute in Washington, DC, one of our major partners, has already built Ghana and Nigeria simulation models.

As you might have seen in the Item (4)-(c) above, Ms. Dorothy K. Gordon, Director-General of the Advanced Information Technology Institute (AITI) at Ghana-India Kofi Annan Center of Excellence in ICT in Accra will lead the Ghanaian group.

(5) As you may also noticed, this project can now possible through the Africa Coast to Europe (ACE) ultra high speed (5 tera bps) optical fiber submarine cable consortium of the Baharicom Development Company (Figure 3 of the Reference (a) above).  Prof. Victor Lawrence at the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ is its Chairman, and he is from your Ghana.

In the Item (4)-(a) above, I said as;

The communication and dynamic modeling of GKCN project will require fiber optic cable Broad Band (BB) Internet. Promotion of BB infrastructure globally is a top priority. We accomplished in the summer of 2012 the connection of the Global Ring Network for Advanced Applications Development (GLORIAD) network (which has been funded by the US National Science Foundation) with the ÒAfrica Coast to Europe (ACE)Ó ultra high-speed (5 tera bps) optical submarine cable along the west coast of Africa, through one of its consortium members, the Baharicom Development Company at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey (14).  This is the extension of our initiation of globalizing Internet in 1970s to early 1980s (see Section 8 below).

(6) The broadband Internet is now ubiquitous all over the world, as benefitting almost every aspect of our life, and this is THANKS TO TOM MENSAHÕs tremendous invention on the fast extrusion of optical fiber — see the Reference (b) above.

We express our sincere thanks for the extraordinary contributions made by you, Tom and Victor — all Ghanaians — who are now CHANGING THE WORLD!!

I took the liberty of admitting you into our list so that you will be kept updated with our daily progress — pls enjoy reading it.

Keep in touch,

Best, Tak
